Meeting with Ternopil orphan students!

On September 30, 2016 in the building of the Ternopil Regional State Administration with the assistance of the Department of Education and Science, the Orphans Future organized its annual meeting with orphan students of local universities and vocational colleges of Ternopil.

Representatives of the Orphans Future, Nadia Yatsyshyn and Ruslan Babyak familiarized the young people with the history and activities of Orphans Future and that in Ternopil the students of this category have available free access to services, including:

- The Resource Center for orphans, which is on the Chumatska Street 37 in Ternopil offers the opportunity for each student to use a computer, printer, scanner, washing machine, mini library and get advice on everyday issues for free.

- Monthly trainings are hold on the basics of independent living on different topics which young people concern about nowadays;

- The Youth Club "Successful Youth" allows students to attend interesting events, learning to culinary skills, visit cultural and historical places of Ukraine, provide opportunity to meet and talk with local businessmen and celebrities;

- Everyone can also join the charity and sport events.

Also, the Foundation highlighted the possibility of obtaining legal advice on housing issues and employment, existing of the individual approach to every student and about youth perspectives with active position.

Also with words of support and advice for students and cooperation made Anna Zvarych, the Deputy Head of Education and Science of the Ternopil Regional State Administration.

Such meetings allow students to understand that they are not alone with their problems but there are people who are willing to lend a shoulder of help to solve any issues during the process of adaptation to adult independent living.
