The Orphans' Future Fund welcomes all our friends and newcomers who are concerned for the future of orphans in Ukraine to participate and to support the following: The Program "The Graduates 2008"began for 30 pupils, the senior class of Koropets, Novoselo and Berezhany boarding schools of the Ternopil region. People that may have an interest in supporting these young people that are on the threshold of independent life can apply to the Foundation. REPORT We have begun to receive requests for participating for the program "Summer Camp 2008" for orphans of the Ternopil area. Summer camp lasts from July 5th through August 20, 2008. here. Soon two graduating students from Koropets boarding school in 1996 will get into their own apartments. Repairs to these apartments was organized and carried out by efforts of volunteers and former orphan graduates. Fotos 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. The charity action "Easter Happiness 2008", that lasted took place from April 20 to May 5, 2008 brought a lot of happiness to the children of the Koropets, Noveselo and Berezhany boarding schools. Welcome to our website. Your being here means you care for orphans and you want to do something helpful for change to a better the life and the future of children without a family. The General Board Meeting of the Fund (February 4, 2008) ratified the Plan of Activities for 2008. We invite and welcome everyone to participate and ask for your moral and financial support. The Foundation began to give financial aid to local NonGovernment Organizations and youth initiatives to promote and assist family care systems of children who remain without own parents. On March 1, 2008, the Fund supports these current institutions: ·Two Public organizations: "Brotherhood of Orphans" and "Association of Orphans of the city of Ternopil'". ·The Ternopil Children and Family Department to lead a five day training seminar for 16 participants, applicants in Foster families. We, and the orphan's we serve, sincerely appreciate your help and generosity. It is only by working together that we can bring the dream of every orphan to reality.

January 2008

Christmas 2008 with a family for thirty three orphans of the Koropets orphanage. Children without family were able to spend the winter holidays with a family from the Ternopil region. During the Charitable Action program called “Give happiness to an Orphan at Christmas” children from the orphanage were welcomed into homes where they were able to learn about a family values, behaving in a real home and be exposed to the culture of Christian traditions. A special thank you goes to local businesses that provided the opportunity for the children to have an opportunity for the first time to see a swimming pool and actually swim in the winter and bowl at the Alligator Recreational Center. Each child received presents from the Orphan’s Future Foundation. In addition to the fun, thanks to Gift of Life Foundation, the orphans received medical and dental assistance at the Medical Clinic on Wheels. Special thanks to the Ternopil families that participated in the Christmas with a Family program and for the opportunity for the children to experience and feel a real family oriented Christmas holiday. The Ukraine National Award "Benefactor 2007" was given to Orphans' Future Foundation during the National Award Ceremony on National Television in Kyiv. The main guest at the Ceremony was Ms. Kateryna Yushchenko, the Ukraine president's wife. Thanks to our Ukrainian and Foreign friends and partners for understanding and trusting in us and believe in orphans' success, of the Ternopil region.

The Director of the Orphans' Future Foundation visited the Ceremony with other orphan youth who are a part of volunteer team with aim to encourage them to do good for younger children further. The Orphans' Future Foundation joined the National Charitable Campaign "St. Nicolas travels through Ukraine" детальніше)))))))))

The Orphans' Future Foundation joined the National Charitable Campaign "St. Nicolas travels through Ukraine" which was organized by the Christian Youth organization "Vytaniya" and the Fund "Ukraine 3000". The main goal of the campaign is to help poor children throughout Ukraine to feel the real holiday and bring them warmth and happiness as passing Ukrainian traditions of mercy and care during the St. Nicolas Holiday. Recently, our Foundation received 230 letters to St. Nicolas from orphans and children deprived of parental care that live in State boarding schools of Koropets and Nove Selo. Our volunteers read all of the children's wishes and started collecting things so they can be delivered to every child in time for St. Nicolas Day. We gladly invite all people to take part in this project and help us make each child's dream come true. Some things that most children wished are: soft toys, cars, dolls, school supplies, electronic toys, socks, hats, umbrellas, books and etc.

First results on computer project for orphans living in villages

We express our hearty Thank You to: The Charity Foundation "KOBZAR" from Philadelphia, USA and to "Microsoft Ukraine"for participating in our recent Project: The Computer training class for orphans of the Koropets boarding school. Results: Five computers were placed in the computer class of the Koropets boarding school and children attend it twice a week during their free time. Target group: 120 orphan pupils ages 12 to 17 and 30 teachers of the Koropets boarding school, Monastyryskiy district, Ternopil' region. Goal: to provide computers for education of 90 children of the Koropets boarding school and to organize computer training classes to teach children and teachers basic computer skills in modern life. Problem: The lack of computers is a major barrier to the education of all children in the Koropets orphanage. Required textbooks for classes are almost impossible to find and purchase. The orphanage needs computer equipment and the Internet access. The computers will be used during educational scheduled time and after school training classes.

A Real Family to Every Child. To gain new experience regarding alternative care systems such as foster care and adoption processes in Canada. This can be accomplished through meetings with Canadian professionals with this expertise was the main goal for Andriy Nazarenko - the Director of the Foundation "Orphans' Future" During three weeks in September, Andriy was a special guest in Manitoba and of course speaker at the third annual Harvesting Dreams Festival in Winnipeg, Canada This festival is a fundrasing campaign to support oprhans in Ukraine.

This festival is a fundraising campaign to support orphans in Ukraine. Mr. Nazarenko prepared and presented a special video presentation for the 400 people who attended the Festival. His speech was about his life as an orphan and his current work for orphan children in Ternopil region. The Ukrainian Adoption Service, Inc. uses all of the donations it receives to buy and send important and needed things to orphaned children in Ukraine. In addition to the Festival, Andriy had meetings with different groups of the Canadian-Ukrainian community. Meetings were held with students in the English Ukrainian bilingual programs and with church members who also work to support the orphans in Ukraine. Also, Andriy got to know about the history and culture of Winnipeg and its people. The trip was very productive and important for both organizations. We express our sincere THANK-YOU to Darla Penner, Kris and Tanya Yakovchuk and to all people who were involved to this program in Manitoba, Canada.

The program "From Heart to Heart" is continued. This summer children from Wisconsin, United States sent their letters and drawings to the twelve children in Koropets orphanage, Ukraine. The children's age from the orphanage was from 8 till 10. Children from Ukraine wrote their response to the children in the States in English language. For them it is a very good experience to learn English speaking and writing skills. This "pen-pal" program was started when Jessica Lois came to visit Ternopil in 2006 on the volunteer base..

We hope the children from Koropets orphanage will receive the greetings with the beginning of the new school year and then will share their personal stories about spending summer time together. Our thank you goes to Darla Penner, Kris Condon, Tanya Yakovchuk and other supporters from Winnipeg, Canada for their generous gifts - clothing, toys and shoes for orphaned children from the Koropets boarding school. We wish them a good health, peace and good luck in the work they do..

The Graduation 2007 "Step to independent life" On June 28 2007 nine orphaned youth of the Koropets boarding school had attended the last school ring bell and good-bye party that was organized specially for them. The greetings for the graduate students were coming from the donors of the different organizations in the Ternopil region. The representatives of our organization - Orphans' Future Foundation, were part of this holiday as well. We have brought for the students the monetary gifts and other important living necessities. The uniqueness of this graduation for the students was the opening of the bank accounts with $70 investment for each orphan-student as their future earnings.

We express our hearty thank you to Dzvinka Hayda from Michigan city (USA) for support of $450; TD "Budservice" for $200; and to Tetyana Yakovchuk for the emotional support, hers and her Ukrainian-Canadian friends' gift of $100. This year five orphans have decided to continue their studies at the high educational institutions such as local Universities in Ukraine. One of the students has entered the Medical collage in Chortkiv city, another three students have entered the Ternopil technical schools. We, Ternopil Charity Foundation "Orphan's Future" and its members truly support the youth that has ambitions to continue their studies and get a high educational degrees and professional skills in order to create better future. We also invite everyone to participate in our charitable programs and/ or to realize your own programs for the orphan children in Ternopil region.

Summer - time for resting and adventures. The State government usually finances accomodation and food at summer camps; however educational and recreational activities are not well organized, that is why annually volunteers from different areas run own summer programs This year we were able to involved the youth of the church Love and Grade of Christ. They will go to the summer camp "Romashka" with own program "You are Special" During the program realization young volunteers teach children to be responsible citizens of the community, to teach orphans to different life skills that are important for development.

Aim of the Summer program "You are Special":: *Help orphans to adapt to life beyond the borders of the orphanage; *Develop Christian moral values; *Reveal and develop children's talents and skills through drama club, talent shows, crafts and games; *Promote a healthy way of life; *Bring up love to their native country; *Develop personalities which are unique and special. Date: August 2007. Place: The Nyrki village, Zalischutskyy rayon, Ternopil region. Beneficiary: 45 orphaned children of Ternopil regional boarding schools. Leaving State run orphanages is a very difficult step for many orphaned children of Ukraine.To support and assist graduates of boarding schools is one of our main tasks. It is important to help children to transform from State support to selfsupport and solving own vital problems. We ask all people to participate in the charity action "The Graduates 2007", the main goal of which is to support financially and moral the 9 graduates of the Koropets boarding school for orphans. Your participation will play an important role in every orphan heart and will be a good memory for their whole life. You can personally support one orphan graduate or several children. The Ternopil Charitable Foundation "Orphans' Future" expresses hearty gratitude to the kind people and companies of the Ternopil city for participating in the Easter action. During this action we were able to collect 1,535 UAH from the local community and $400 from our US friends. We were able to buy 14 bicycles for pupils of the three State-run boarding schools of the Ternopil region: in Koropets village, Nove-Selo and Berezhany.

1,535 UAH was given by local companies and $400 was given by our US friends. Also, we would like to express gratitude the Ukrainian Diaspora of the State of Michigan for the donation of clothes and toys. They were gratefully received by the children of the Koropets orphanage. We wish all the participants good luck, health and prosperity. . We have an ongoing fundraising program and are incredibly gratefull for any support that is received

"Saint Nicolas 2006" came to the orphans of the Koropets boarding school, Monastysiskiy district. During the charity action, the former students of this school were involved and were able to raise 900 UAH to purchase a TV, DVD, fruits, sweets and 20 kg of clothing and other items. Hearty gratitude for help in organization of the holiday we express to the LTD. "ANT" - 400 UAH and to the electronic shop "FOXTROT" for a discount of 15%.

We always invite local community and business to participate in our activities in solving orphans' problems and improving their vital position. We are thankful to all for understanding and care. Also, the graduates visited their educators and teachers and felicitate them on holidays and thank them for a long-term care of orphans. The holiday was special for children, as they got new television and DVD. The Orphans' Future will further provide and improve material base of orphanages and foster care homes and always glad to welcome everyone interested to participate in further actions.

The Foundation Orphans' Future in cooperation with the Gift of Life Foundation organized a free medical and dental examination of 20 young orphans of Ternopil city at the Medical Clinic on Wheels, that belongs to "Gift of Life" Ternopil'. A generous gratitude the beneficiaries express to the doctors and Layper's family for understanding health problems of orphans. Also, a free medical and dental examination received 185 children of the Koropets orphanage, where Medical Clinic granted in October, 2006. Annually the Foundation "Gift of Life", Ternopil' gives consultative services and keeps going those who ask. Having such friends and partners, orphans feel care.

The Orphans' Future Foundation participates at second International Conference "The culture of philathropy - mobilisation the commnuity resources" Kyiv.
