Twenty years ago, we started without major resources, without the loud opportunities of the capital or wealthy donors. Just three graduates of an orphanage in the village of Koropets, with a belief that even in a small city, it is possible to create and change the lives of those in need.
Ternopil is not Kyiv. Ternopil is not Lviv. Here, there is less money, less attention, fewer chances for large grants. But there is something else here — people.
It is thanks to caring individuals, small donations, and quiet support — step by step — that in 2006 the Orphans Future Foundation was built.
Carlene and Tim Lois, Andriy Nazarenko, Volodymy Yavorsky, Iryna Abramets-Vakaliuk, Zoriana Vitushyntska, Oleksandr Yakovleev, Yura Zenda.
A small team. Big hearts. And stability that we have been building for 20 years.
We did not become large in size, but we became strong in meaning: just over 500 orphaned children have received support; 250 young people have taken a step into independent life; and 20 foster families raising more than 200 children know they are not alone.
This is not about scale. This is about sustainability.
Because real change is not born where there are many resources, but where there is responsibility not to give up.
Twenty years is proof that even a small local organization can become a pillar of support for hundreds of children and young people.
And today, we are not stopping — because ahead, there are still those who need a chance, and many stories we can help change.
Become part of this. Even a small donation is a continuation of these 20 years. Support the Orphans Future Foundation today.
