A support meeting for graduates was held on 30 January 2025 in Ternopil in order to discuss opportunities and support with young graduates to enable them to build a strong future. Youth Coordinator, Zoryana Vitushynska, brought together nine incredible young people who recently left state institutions and need both support and guidance in making important decisions.
- Participants shared their experiences, challenges, and successes in 2024, creating a sense of mutual understanding.
- Andriy Nazrenko, Head of the Orphans' Future Foundation, spoke about the foundation's capabilities to support learning and development during the transition to independent adulthood.
- Such meetings and discussions are aimed at building confidence and managing stress in orphans.
- Experienced alumni gave advice on education, work, and financial literacy.
Boys and girls report that these meetings provide important support during their integration into a society where stereotypes about orphans remain. Meetings with people who understand their difficulties mean a lot to them. They would like these meetings to be held regularly and therefore we urge those who care about orphans to join and support that the Orphans’ Future Foundation team in providing these opportunities.
Thank you to Ken Surridge and Paul Field for supporting such these meetings that are so important to graduate youths.
We will continue to organize support meetings to ensure and encourage young people to make positive changes in their lives and grow towards independence.
